Some pictures of the first section of my Project Life album for 2015, covering January and February.
The 6×8 size is new for me this year (more here) and so far I like it – particularly not needing to take filler photos every week.
Lunches with friends and New Year thoughts. A coffee cup motto and a bill wallet from riverstation where we had dinner on my birthday. It also holds the tickets from our trip to the ballet. Adding this directly to the album seemed a lot easier than finding a pocket to fit and it adds variety. A full page to commemorate my birthday. A 6×8 collage print of snapshots and Instagrams. I was really pleased when I found the new Boots instant photo machines can do larger print sizes! The spare passport photos were included for comedy value!Afternoon tea at the Pump Rooms in Bath, more coffee-related ephemera and meals at home with friends. Our day trip to Burnham-on-Sea warranted two whole pages. Cultural activities in February included a trip to the Bath Literature Festival to see Austentatious and an exhibition at the Victoria Art Gallery. I liked gathering these together rather than sticking to strictly chronological order.Another collage of snapshots and Instagrams. I’ll probably do at least one of these per month as they are a good way of including lots of random photos.
Another collage – this time covering a family party with fireworks. Please ignore the “March” cards on the right – they were an experiment, which I eventually binned!
[For reference, the supplies used: cards from the Midnight (physical and app), Jade and Coral editions and the Boys Rule kit. Blank grid cards from Project Life. Letter stickers from Project Life, Simple Stories and Thickers. Papers from My Mind’s Eye. Stamps from Dove Craft and Project Life. 6×8 PSE templates from Paislee Press, Lili Niclass and Serendipity Design. The 6×8 album is by Project Life and the inserts are a mixture of Project Life and Simple Stories.]
